Sunday morning in the park - a free monthly concert series
In August 2011 the Boquete Jazz & Blues Festival Foundation started a series of free concerts in the Boquete central park. On the second Sunday of each month from 11am until 1pm local bands will entertain audiences with a large variety of musical styles ranging from Salsa, Bossa Nova, Reggae, Merengue to Latin Jazz and Blues.
This is another effort of the Boquete Jazz & Blues Foundation to enrich and support cultural life and promote musical entertainment in Boquete while at the same time providing opportunities and exposure for local Panamanian musical talents.
Dates in 2011/2012: Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Dec.11, Jan. 8, Feb 12
Admission is free. Donations for the Boquete Jazz & Blues Festival will be highly appreciated.
