Program, ticket prices & contribution packages

Pre-festival activities:
Friday, February 22, 4pm-7pm: Opening of The Art of Music at the Boquete library, an artshow complementing the Jazz&Blues Festival

Saturday, Feb. 23, 5pm - 8pm: Wine tasting & dance party with live music at la Casa del Risco, Hacienda Los Molinos. Admission $18

Festival activities:
Thursday, Feb  28, 2pm - 5pm: New Orleans style street parade followed by a garden party with live music at the Panamonte hotel, admission $5
7pm -9pm Presentation of Panamonte Brands rum at the Panamonte hotel, with live music by Boquete's Fantazy Jazzband,
admission $5
  
Friday, March 1st, 2 pm - 4 pm: Free concert in the Boquete central park, followed by a harp playing instruction class for students of local schools, by master harpist Bob Corritore with 50 harps donated by the Hohner company

Jam sessions at local venues on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Admissions: $8
Thursday, Feb 28, 9pm - ???: Jam session at Mike's Global Grill, hosted by Ron Hacker&The Hacksaws, San Francisco
Friday, March 1, 8:30pm - ???: Jam session at The Rock restaurant, hosted by Bob Corritore & Chicago's legendary Bluesman Taildragger, backed up the Boquete Blues Band B3
Saturday, March 2, 9pm - ???: Jam session at Amigos restaurant, hosted by wild trombonist Randy Oxford & his band, Seattle

Saturday, March 2, 12pm -6pm: Open air festival at the Valle Escondido amphitheater. Doors open at 11am.

Ron Hacker & The Hacksaws, San Francisco

Admissions are as follows:
$ 20 One-day ticket for March 2 or March 3, 2013. Prices for students and minors are $5 per day
$ 30 Festival passes for both days for adults, 
$7.50 for students and minors (below age 18), ID required.

Important notice: The contribution packages that come with one or more bottle of rum are no longer available because we're sold out on the rum! You can still buy the normal one-day tickets or two-day festival passes, as well as the $100 friends of the festival package.

$100 Friends of BJBF package: Join our club of friends of the Boquete Jazz&Blues Festival! For a membership fee of $100 you'll get a festival pass worth $30 and you may choose up to 3 items of our merchandise with a total value of $45 plus preferred seating. This is your option if you don't want the bottle of rum that comes with the $100+ contribution package (see below).

$1500 Silver contribution package: For a cash contribution of $1500 you will get benefits worth up to $940 (*): 3 festival passes, 1 festival tile, 3 welcome bags, 2 bottles of Panamonte XXV Reserva Preciosa (while supply lasts), reserved seating, a certificate of contribution, and exposure by name and/or logo on our website, in the festival program and at the festival venue, larger and above the bronze contributors.

$ 3000 Gold contribution package: For a cash contribution of $3000 you will get benefits worth up to $2200 (*): 4 festival passes, 1 festival tile, 4 welcome bags, 4 bottles of Panamonte XXV Reserva Preciosa (while supply lasts), reserved seating, a certificate of contribution, 1 professional photo shoot with musicians, and exposure by name and/or logo on our website, in the festival program and at the festival venue, larger and above the silver contributors. Sorry, the rum contained in this package has been sold out!

In-kind donations will be appraised at 50% of their stated value for the purpose of allocation to contributor levels.
These additional special benefits will be allocated to contributors according to date and time of purchase of package. Allocation is not negotiable.

For cost reasons we are not able to ship your benefits from Panama. Contributors will receive their benefits at the festival venue.

Junior tickets and passes are not available for online sales. Please contact sales@boquetejazzandbluesfestival.com or one of the points of sale for purchasing junior tickets and/or passes.
